Static transfer switches allow UPS equipment to be operated in isolated redundancy mode and are available with a power output of up to 1,600A. Static voltage regulators offer wide input voltage tolerance while maintaining closely regulated output power, which protects against over and under voltage.

Cummins Power Generation announced today the company's entire stationary diesel generator set range from 680kW -2,750kW, including the industry leading Mission Critical 2,500kW diesel generator set, has received Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Tier 4 interim (Tier 4i) certification for the North American market.

EPA mandates that all non-emergency applications be Tier4i certified. Nonetheless, in certain locations, the local ordinances may require that emergency backup generators also adhere to stricter emissions limits. Because Cummins' stationary diesel generator sets can be configured to meet requirements beyond Tier 4i if necessary, Cummins generator sets are available to comply with the most stringent emissions regulations.
